The native range of this species is Assam to China (S. Yunnan) and Indo-China. It is an epiphytic subshrub and grows primarily in the wet tropical rainforest.
This Hoya grows hanging off the side of a tree (epiphytic subshrub), unlike most Hoyas which grow as climbing vines.
The flowers can range from a light orange to buttery yellow and have a warm spicy scent.
Makes a gorgeous hanging basket.
