Nepenthes Mix
Long Fiber New Zealand Sphagnum Moss with Coco Coir chips, chunky Perlite, and Tree fern fiber make the perfect nepenthes mix.
After years of trying different growing mediums for our nepenthes, this is what has come to be our go to.
Rather than soaking it and then trying to figure out when it's dry enough to water again, you keep this mix evenly moist but not sopping wet. As long as the mix is damp, your Nepenthes plants will be very at home and happy.
**The exact ingredients and proportions and therefore the appearance can vary due to availability and because it is hand mixed, but not in a way that will affect performance.
This is the mix we use for not only for Nepenthes but also works great for many Anthurium, Philodendron, Begonia and many others.

Small (approximately 1/8 cf, or 3.5 Quarts)
Medium (Approximately 1/4 cf. or 7 Quarts)
