Hoya heuschkeliana comes from the Philippines.

It is a relatively recent addition to the genus, having been described in 1989. The more common flower color is pink but it also comes in a yellow color form.

This is the variegated form with pink flowers.

Hoya heuschkeliana is a wonderful miniature species. The regular form has dark green, slightly cupped leaves that are usually about the size of a dime or penny.

We find the green versions of this species to be very easy plants to grow and are fast growers for us.

This is the highly coveted variegated form which we find much more delicate and sensitive and can be much more difficult to grow.

The flowers are REALLY small and cute and smell just like butterscotch candy (some people say buttered popcorn but I smell butterscotch more.
