Hoya 'Millie' SMS 019
This attractive cultivar is a Koko Ranch hybrid of H. carnosa large leaf old stock crossed with H. carnosa small leaf old stock. As a hybrid cultivar, it does not exist in the wild but inherits traits from H. carnosa, which originates from East Asia and Australia where it grows epiphytically in tropical and subtropical environments.
Develops lots splashing, creating attractive silver or white flecking on the thick, waxy leaves. In brighter light the new growth can be a very cool, mottled, dark red and green.
Like its carnosa parents, produces clusters of fragrant star-shaped flowers. This versatile plant works well trailing from hanging baskets or trained to climb a support.
Easy to grow and low-maintenance, making it suitable for beginners seeking a reliable Hoya.
Care Requirements: Bright, indirect light—brighter light enhances appearance of foliage.
Our Classic or Shaggy Aroid & Hoya Mix provides the ideal well-draining substrate. Allow soil to dry between waterings. Thrives in temperatures between 60-85°F. Prefers to be slightly root-bound. Perfect for beginners seeking an easy-care Hoya with attractive foliage.
